KABOOM! SPLATTER! WOW! These are just some of the sounds guests can hear at the PST ART + Science Family Festival at La Brea Tar Pits, where art and science collide for an unforgettable family-friendly event.

The festival site features tented and outdoor spaces filled with interactive content that explores the rich and diverse art and science of Southern California. Families are invited to be curious, be creative, and to come and join the fun!

There are interactive workshops for all ages; children can participate together with their caregivers in many of them. The outdoor stage offers a rolling program of shows and performances throughout the day as well as the Street Science performers around the park.  

On Saturday night at 7pm there is a special additional performance from Quetzal and La Familia Gutiérrez with A Song on the Meadow is a Song in the City .

The festival is free to access, some workshop activities require a registration on-site.
