The general election is held on November 5, 2024, but early voting has already begun—and there are so many convenient ways to cast that important vote.

Early voting begins October 26 at some locations and November 2 at others.  Voting locations offer same day voter registration, replacement ballots, accessible voting machines, and language assistance.

All California voters should have received a vote-by-mail ballot for the General Election. Ballots returned at a secure ballot drop box must be deposited by 8pm on November 5, 2024. Ballots returned by mail must be postmarked on or before November 5, 2024 and received by your county elections office by November 12, 2024.  

Polls are open from 10am to 7pm for early voting days (October 26 - Nov 4) Polls are open on November 5 from 7am to 8pm.  Polling locations can be found here for LA County. Links to information for other counties can be found here.
