Angel City Games
- see all dates
Individuals of all ages and ability levels can play sports and have fun at the Angel City Games, the largest Paralympic-style adaptive sports event in the Western US.
This 3-day event offers clinics and competitions for people of all ages and skill levels who have a physical disability or visual impairment.
This year's event is held at El Camino College in Torrance.
Led by elite coaches and Paralympians, participants engage in sports clinics, competitions as well as recreation.
Among the many competition sports are bocchia, golf, sitting volleyball, wheelchair fencing, wheelchair basketball, and swimming. Please note registration for some competitions closes two weeks prior to the event.
Additionally, there are clinics in many additional sports, including amputee soccer, archery, table tennis, weightlifting/fitness, wheelchair dance and many others. Some sports have both competition and clinic options. There is open play in boccia, golf, rowing, wheelchair lacrosse, underwater torpedo league, and yoga.
Angel City Games is a chance for everybody to try adaptive sports, including those who do not have a physical disability.
Parking onsite is free in Structure H off of Stadium Way and W. Redondo Beach Blvd.
Everyone who plans to attend the Games should register, whether as an athlete, a volunteer, or a spectator.
