CicLAvia – Koreatown meets Hollywood
CicLAvia celebrate its 59th car-free open streets event with a route that connects Hollywood, East Hollywood, Melrose Hill, and Koreatown.
Participants can jog, ride, bike, skate, run, walk, skateboard, spectate, play, and enjoy the car-free streets of the 4.75-mile route.
Always free, CicLAvia participants just show up anywhere along the route at any time to enjoy the open streets and to take the time to explore two of L.A.’s iconic communities.
With four Hubs filled with plenty of activities and programs along the route, CicLAvia – Koreatown meets Hollywood is both fun and engaging for all to enjoy. Hubs are walking zones (bike dismounts) and meeting points along the route with the Hollywood Hub located on Vine St. south of Hollywood Blvd; Santa Monica Blvd Hub located just east of Western Ave; Western Ave Hub located near 2nd street; and Koreatown Hub located on Wilshire Blvd just west of Vermont Ave.
Hubs offer family-friendly activities, restrooms, free water refilling stations, free basic bike repair, bike parking, and first aid. Free pedicab rides, sponsored by AARP, are available at each information booth.
