Sudbury Memorial Day Parade
The Sudbury Memorial Day Parade has been honoring veterans for more than 100 years.
The parade stops at the Goodnow Library Civil War Monument, the Wadsworth Monument (King Philip’s War), and the World War II, Korean, and Vietnam Memorials at Wadsworth Cemetery.
Parade Route & Schedule of Events:
- 7:30 a.m. Revolutionary War Cemetery and Minuteman Musket Salute
- 8:30 a.m. Commemorative ceremonies at Old North Cemetery and New North Cemetery.
- 9:00 a.m. Parade assembles at Rugged Bear Plaza
- 9:30 a.m. Parade begins at Rugged Bear Plaza
- 9:50 a.m. Civil War Monument at Goodnow Library
- 10:00 a.m. Colonel Al Bonazzoli Gravestone at Wadsworth Cemetery
- 10:30 a.m. WWII, Korea, and Vietnam War Monuments at Wadsworth Cemetery
- 11:00 a.m. Brownies and Daisies join parade at Ascension Parish Church
- 11:20 a.m. WWII Memorial and Memorial Day Program at Grinnell Park in Town Center
- The historic Hosmer House is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
