USC Pacific Asia Museum's annual Lunar New Year festival celebrates the Year of the Snake.
Guests can enjoy a traditional lion dance, storytelling, calligraphy and crafts, food trucks, free admission to the museum, and a chance to view the special exhibition, Cai Guo-Qiang: A Material Odyssey.
Barnsdall Arts leads art making activities; the Altadena Public Library presents storytime at 2pm Performers throughout the day include Northern Shaolin Kung Fu Association, USC Traditional Chinese Dance, Korean Classical Music and Dance Company, opera soprano Shirley Wang, and USC Kazan Taiko.
