CAAM's King Day 2025 is now being held on February 17 (President's Day Monday).  The annual MLK Jr festivity coincides with the (also rescheduled!) Kingdom Day Parade.

The community is invited to come together to honor Martin Luther King Jr. with a performance by the Inner City Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, discussions with the King Study Group, family activities, food trucks, and more.

New this year:  a community service book donation drive supporting the Little Free Library at the Crenshaw Family YMCA.

Guests are invited to participate in the book drive initiative by donating children’s books—new or gently used—that can inspire, educate, and entertain young readers and foster a love for reading among the children in the community.

Schedule:

11am - 12 noon: King Study Group.

12:30pm - 1pm: Family Story Time

2pm - 3pm: Concert
