The Olympia Philharmonic Society & Cal State University Los Angeles present Concertino, a free community concert featuring the world premiere of Concertino for Violin and Orchestra, a composition by Masatoshi Mitsumoto.
The rest of the program includes works by Beethoven (the famous Fifth Symphony, Fate), Haydn, Korngold and Weber. In addition, soloists Hannah Kim (violinist, Grand Prize Winner of the American String Teachers Association Los Angeles Competition), and Jasmine Lam (cellist, Principal Cellist of the orchestra as well as of the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts) are featured.
