Home for the Holidays Festival at Coe Hall
- see all dates
Get ready for all the cozy holiday feels at Coe Hall’s Home for the Holidays festival—one of Long Island’s most magical family traditions! Planting Fields transforms into a winter wonderland, and it’s the perfect spot to make some merry memories with the kids.
Santa is even stopping by! Kiddos can share their wish lists, snap holiday photos, and enjoy jolly cheer as the big guy spreads magic throughout the day.
Then step inside the historic Main House, decked out in stunning seasonal décor made from natural materials gathered right on the ground. Warm up with hot cocoa, enjoy classic holiday tunes echoing through the halls, and let the kids get crafty with a special seasonal keepsake.
2025 Sessions: December 12 at 5pm, December 13 at 10am and 1pm, December 14 at 10am, 1pm, and 4pm.
Separately, the Annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Planting Fields Arboretum is being held on Friday, December 12 at 5:30pm. Carolers kick off the celebration singing traditional holiday songs on the south side of the Camellia Greenhouse succeeded by Santa Claus lighting the 35-foot Japanese Umbrella Pine at 6pm. Afterwards, visit with Santa in the Planting Fields Hay Barn until 7:30pm. Patrons can also view the gorgeous poinsettia display in the Main Greenhouse which will feature over 20 varieties of poinsettias. The grounds are open for exploring until 8pm. Most of the festivities for the Tree Lighting take place outside, so please dress accordingly.
