In Japanese culture, the cherry blossom represents the fragility and beauty of life. Families are invited to enjoy cherry blossom season at the Garden as the showy, ornamental cherry trees bring forth their spectacular blooms in drifts of soft pink. 

Guests can stroll through the gardens, or enjoy a picnic on the grounds. (Food and drink available for purchase.)  Other highlights include live performances throughout the afternoon, and family-friendly craft activities for all to enjoy.

Scheduled Performances:

11 am: HereAndNow Theatre Company

12 pm: Kitsune Taiko

1 pm: Hula Halau ‘O Hoanui

2 pm & 3:30 pm: Shin Kawasaki Performance and Children’s Sing-along

3 pm: Kai Chika’s Ukulele
