The blockbuster musical that took Broadway by storm is here to give LA families a taste of its pre-Wizard of Oz take on who Glinda the Good and the so-called Wicked Witch really are.

The musically compelling backstory follows two BFFs who become rivals, and it leaves us with some thoughts about judging a person by her skin color. The minimum recommended age is 8, mostly because of a few scary moments.

Running time: 3 hours (including intermission)

Note: Children under 5 will not be admitted to the theater.
