Here's something to roar about: the LA Zoo is going Hollywood with haunting drive-in movies for Halloween weekend, made even more special by spooky decorations, treats for kids, and a costume contest.

Movie theater fare is available through mobile food ordering, to be enjoyed in the comfort of one's car. Pre-show entertainment includes favorite animals and trivia games.

The final weekend is a Halloween spooktacular. The ghoulish additions include frightful decor, bags of candy, a virtual costume contest, phantasmagorical photo opportunities and a devilishly delicious candy pick-up station.and more. 

Guests who dress in costume have a chance to win prizes; the first 50 decorated cars to arrive receive a pumpkin as well as a carving stencil depicting an LA Zoo animal
