I scream, you scream, we all scream for the free Ice Cream Social at The Gourmandise School.

On Memorial Day, The Gourmandise School of Sweets and Savories opens its doors for a day of luscious demonstrations and tastings. 

Each of the Gourmandise kitchens offers demonstrations, such as the making of rich butterscotch sauce, homemade sprinkles, and chocolate-dipped cones.

Ice cream connoisseur Shiho Yoshikawa ( of local ice cream shop Sweet Rose Creamery) reveals the secrets of how to make ice cream at home using high quality dairy products. A varierty of samples from Sweet Rose Creamery are available for tasting, including fan favorite Fresh Mint Chip and unique Brown Butter with Lemon Wafer.
