Enjoy a beautiful, leisurely walk through the Santa Monica Mountains to search for some of the over 200 species of birds that live in the region. On this guided tour, members of the San Fernando Valley Audubon Society help to locate feathered friends such as the Acorn Woodpecker, White-breasted Nuthatch, or Blue Grosbeak. You can expect to find 30-50 different birds on your adventure. 

This event costs $12 per car.

Birders meet at the main lot at Malibu Creek State Park.

The entrance to the park is off Las Virgenes Road. 

You may want to bring a notebook and pen, bird guide, binoculars, or camera with you. Comfortable hiking shoes are recommended.
