Norton Simon visitors can beat the heat while exploring California Cool. 

Families can get inspired by artists who lived or worked in California in the 20th century, like Richard Diebenkorn, Sam Francis and Diego Rivera, exploring their works and learning more about their influences with a tour led by a Museum educator.

Participants then create artworks inspired by their own California experience.

Norton Simon Family Days are designed for families with children ages 4 - 12.

This program is free with Museum admission (admission is free for children 18 and younger; adults pay admission at check-in). Advance reservation is encouraged.
