It flew over the Pacific during WWII, now this vintage aircraft flies over the Planes of Fame Air Museum.

Considered one of the best allied fighters of the Second World War, the Vought F4U Corsair helped turn the tide of the war for the allied forces in the Pacific.  Whether flying from carriers for the Navy or from land bases for the Marines, the Corsair established an incredible victory ratio against Japanese aircraft and shipping.

This event offers an opportunity to see this aircraft up close and learn about its development and success during both World War II and the Korean War.

12 noon: Engine Start and Taxi. The aircraft flies over the Museum for approximately 20 minutes
