Capoeira with Henry Young
Thu Aug 20, 2020
4:30pm ET
Age: 5 and up
Price: Free
Register in advance for some distanced physical fitness with Capoeira instructor Henry Young. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art that combines elements of dance, acrobatics, and music.
It was developed by enslaved Africans in Brazil at the beginning of the 16th century. It is known for its acrobatic and complex maneuvers, often involving hands on the ground and inverted kicks. Great for all ages and levels (parents, too!).
Dress comfortably and bring water!
