Spooky Science and Disney's "Coco" at the Cradle of Aviation Museum
The Cradle of Aviation Museum's Spooky Science Night returns with various spooky STEM activities and a special screening of Disney's "Coco."
You can explore the museum galleries, make-and-take spooky STEM activities, and enjoy trick-or-treat goody bags. Then, we'll watch Disney's Coco in the theater and even provide snacks! Costumes Encouraged!
- 5-7pm - Explore the galleries, Spooky Science STEM activities, and trick-or-treat goody bags.
- 7pm - Head to the theater for Disney's Coco. Despite his family's ban on music, young Miguel dreams of becoming a musician like his idol Ernesto de la Cruz. In the colorful Land of the Dead, Miguel and a charming trickster named Héctor embark on a journey to uncover the real story behind Miguel's family history.
STEM Activities Include:
Sugar Skulls
Create and decorate your own calavera de azúcar mask.
Have elements of a calavera de azúcar painted on your face by our face painter.
Skeleton Marionette
Assemble your marionette and see how your muscles, bones, and joints allow you to walk around.
Gallery Ofrendas
Walk through our galleries to see ofrendas remembering aviators, engineers, astronauts, and more!
Circuit Lantern
Dia de los Muertos is for remembering—create a safe, simple circuit lantern to light your ofrenda!
Museum members will receive a $5 discount per ticket. A membership card or photo ID is required at check-in.
