Each year, hundreds of runners take to the streets of downtown Farmingdale, finishing in front of the village green and Farmingdale Village Hall. But first, the Kids Fun Run kicks off the day's events.

The Kids Fun Run starts at 8:30am, the women's races start at 9:15am and the men's races at 9:45am.. This is one of Companions in Courage Foundation key events during the year. Hockey legend Pat LaFontaine is expected.
