The Los Angeles County Fair returns for the 2024 season, once again held  in the cooler month of May. This year's theme is “Stars, Stripes & Fun."

It's time to head out to Pomona and munch deep-fried Twinkies, watch chickens hatch, cheer pig races, ride ponies, bungee jump, listen to live music, and mingle with hogs, heifers, and hares.

And don't forget the deep fried pickles.

Plus, dozens of rides and attractions make the LA Fair the largest carnival collection in North America . Check out some of the hidden gems we love each year, or the keep-cool attractions where we escape the heat.

The LA County Fair Concert Series offers headliners including Pat Benatar, Berlin, TLC, Ceelo Green, & Montell Jordan, Nelly & T.I, Dustin Lynch, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, 38 Special, and Jimmy JJ Walker (Dyn-o-mite!). (Separate ticket purchase required, includes admission to the LA County Fair on the night of the concert.)

Be sure to check the fair's website for special deals on tickets and/or parking before heading out, and for the day's hours.

Opening day - May 3 -  hours are 5pm to 11pm and advance tickets are $10.

 All other days the hours are 11am to 11pm.
