Adding to the various iterations this month of the Tchaikovsky classic, this weekend showcases The Westchester Ballet Company Presents The Nutcracker and The Colonial Nutcracker. Additional options for holiday entertainment include Westchester Philharmonic's Winter Pops, featuring a Broadway star, and The Laurie Berkner Band's Holiday Celebration. Among the FREE holiday craft workshops is the distinctive Holiday Decorations from Nature.

Read on for just a few of the many happenings we’ve culled from our Event Calendar, and also view the many options in our Holiday Fun Guide we’ve worked hard to identify for you. Enjoy it all!

Beyond Westchester

Be a part of an enduring history at the 105th annual candlelight carol service and a reading of 'Twas the Night Before Christmas. What’s not to love?

Returning to Chinatown after a brief hiatus is the East Meets West Christmas Parade, a mash-up of cultures as Chinatown and Little Italy come together to celebrate the holiday season. Watch marching bands, Chinese Lion and Dragon Dance troupes, and other entertainers parade down the street followed by a live musical performance. It's a fairly modest affair but definitely one of a kind. And it’s FREE!

Remember to check out our Event Calendar for even more fun happening this weekend and beyond in Westchester and the Hudson Valley!
