Join Wilton Historical Society's Museum Educator to discuss the origins of felting. Felt is one of the oldest textiles. It is created from wool, or other animal fibers, and is perfect for keeping cold hands warm on chilly days.

In this hands-on-workshop, participants will be guided in making felted mittens from recycled sweaters.

Registration is recommended. 
The kids will help make their own snack.
