Sat May 13, 2023 - Sat Aug 19, 2023
- see all dates
Repeating every week — Saturdays through August 19, 2023.
10:30am to 11:15am ET
Age: 4-10
Price: Free
The Old Manse is hosting outdoor storytimes as to celebrate environmental literature by reading outside in the landscape that inspired Ralph Waldo Emerson to write his environmental classic, "Nature." Each storytime focuses on a different topic such as birds, activism, habitats, and identity - and is followed by an art activity that explores that idea.
In this program, art and literature are used to inspire children to love themselves and the natural world.
Check out the website for the list of weekly stories.
