NEMPAC's Jazz in the Park

The North End Music & Performing Arts Center (NEMPAC) returns to the Rose Kennedy Greenway for its 2025 Jazz in the Park Summer Concert Series on Thursday Nights July 10 through August 7. Artistically directed by Stefano Marchese, this year’s lineup will feature Boston’s top jazz artists, musicians, and ensembles representing diverse cultures and genres worldwide. Concerts are free and open to the public.
The series, in partnership with the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and the City of Boston, will present five fantastic musical acts performing a range of musical stylings. The artist line-up is below:

Farayi Malek is a Grammy nominated vocalist originally from Idaho, who blends the diverse influences of gospel, American folk, blues, and jazz into her unique sound.
Samuel Batista is a Panamanian saxophonist who has performed at the Montreal Jazz Festival, Kriol Jazz Festival, and Carnegie Hall.
Nicóh is a vocalist, percussionist, and producer who combines musical influences from Latin folk and Celtic, to drum & bass and pop punk.
Albino Mbie is an acclaimed musician, singer, guitarist, and composer from Mozambique, whose unique sound blends traditional Mozambican genres like Marrabenta and Chope with jazz harmonies and Afro-pop, creating a captivating musical experience.
Mercedes Escobar is a Boston-based Guatemalan singer-songwriter who performs Latin Americana, and has been nominated for Latin Artist of the Year at the Boston Music Awards.
