On February 19th, you are invited to Little Joe’s birthday party! The gorilla habitat inside the Tropical Forest at Franklin Park Zoo will be festively decorated with enrichment items, and the gorillas will enjoy a special birthday cake handmade by their care team.

Event Schedule:

• 9:00 a.m. – Gorillas can be seen in the indoor habitat (watch them discover the birthday enrichment and treats) 
• 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.: Education Station, activity table
• 10:00 a.m. – Gorilla Keeper Chat  
• 2:00 p.m. – Gorilla Keeper Chat 

Please note:
-Gorillas will go on exhibit at 10:00 a.m.
-This event is included with general Zoo admission. 

In honor of Little Joe’s birthday, help gorillas by recycling old phones or tablets in the collection box by the gorilla habitat. The zoo has teamed up with Eco-Cell, a company that partners with zoos across the country, to collect recycled cell phones and refurbish them for reuse.
