Visit the sanctuary for a midwinter night hike under the light of the full moon. Nocturnal wildlife abounds, including Great Horned Owls. After the hike, enjoy a dinner of hearty stew and bread and warm up with hot beverages like hot chocolate.

Bring a camera, warm waterproof boots, water, and a flashlight or headlamp. It is very important to wear layers. We recommend multiple pairs of socks, extra fleece or insulation under regular clothes, and warm hats and gloves.
