Sat Mar 9, 2024
10:00am to 12:00pm ET
Age: All Ages
Price: Free
Location:
Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History

The museum hosts an early celebration of Save a Spider Day. Visitors can see spider specimens up close, observe live tarantula feedings, and learn about the amazing diversity found within the different spider species.

Scientists from the museum are also sharing about the science they do to learn more about spiders and helping to debunk common spider myths. Special guests from the National Postal Museum are on hand to help families create postcards with spider facts for someone special.

The event is free and registration is not required. Families may drop in for as long as they like.
