Explore the Academy of Natural Science's newest exhibit called Xtreme Bugs. Visitors come face-to-feet with nearly 20 massive, colorful, moving bugs including a fluttering monarch butterfly,  a fluffy tri-colored bumblebee, and a gigantic Madagascar hissing cockroach.

Special crafts, demos, face-painting, and more await. This event costs $7 for non-members and $4 for individual and family members. Family plus members and above are free.

Metered parking is available near the museum. Some metered parking is free on Sundays but read signs carefully to make sure. Nearby parking lots offer discounted rates but be mindful as some have special requirements to obtain the discount.
