Monterey Park celebrates its 109th birthday with four days of fun in Barnes Park.

The carnival runs throughout the weekend, with four days of rides, games, and live entertainment at Barnes Park.

Performers throughout the weekend include Mariachi, Cold Duck, Shock Proof and Identity Theft.  Sunday is themed to AAPI Heritage Month, with live entertainment and demonstrations throughout the day.

Food trucks on site include Fluff Ice, Patty Meets Bun, and Wood Fire Pies.

One day wristbands: opening night: $33; Friday: $35; Saturday & Sunday: $38.

Friday, May 10:  5pm to 11pm
Saturday, May 11: 1pm to 11pm
