The City of Costa Mesa's Scarecrow Soiree offers a day of fun, free crafts, games, and tasty treats. Little ones can have a fall-tastic time making miniature scarecrows, decorating pumpkins, and more more.

Attendees can learn all about the history of Costa Mesa's famous Scarecrow Festival from the Costa Mesa Historical Society to win extra goodies. (The Scarecrow Festival is held on October 12 at Lions Park.)

Participants can also help build a community scarecrow and get a sneak peek at some of the fun and festive scarecrows that will on display at the Scarecrow Festival on the 12th!

The Scarecrow Soiree is at the Norma Hertzog Community Center on October 6. This indoor event is held rain or shine.
