Crayola Flowers Has a Bright New School Fundraising Idea
There’s a bright new school fundraising idea blooming: Crayola Flowers has a new fundraising platform just in time for fundraisers for schools, sports teams, scout groups, and more.
With colors for every team, school, or occasion, you can order flowers for a friend, and a cut will go to the nonprofit of your choice, or use the platform for the next big fundraiser at school and the proceeds go directly to your organization. Crayola Flowers is putting a new spin on raising money that it promises makes sense, scents, and cents for its nonprofit partners.

At the pop-up event in NY, launching this new fundraising idea, I got lost in a sea of flowers of every color. I could picture using flowers in the color of our little league team for a Mother's Day fundraiser, or selling single flowers at a high school dance.
It's perfect timing, as we're all just getting back to school and sports and extracurriculars, and a bake sale just might not cut it this fall. (Though, if you do have a bake sale, #6 on this cookie recipe list are the top sellers at every bake sale...)
I also like that Crayola uses a team of growers who farm sustainable blooms and provide fair wages, healthcare, and a safe work environment for employees.

Crayola Flowers offers three different types of fundraisers.
Anytime Fundraisers from Crayola Flowers
With this option, your local nonprofit can set up a Crayola Flowers store and advertise it to the community, who can use the platform to send blooming bouquets year-round. Anytime an order is placed, you receive 10 percent of the profits. Price points range from $49-$90+. Anytime orders are shipped directly to the recipient's home.
Occasion-al Fundraisers from Crayola Flowers
From the holidays to Mother’s Day, Valentine’s Day, and more, Crayola Flowers allows users to set up a date-specific fundraiser. Once the fundraiser closes, all blooms are delivered to a central spot for each customer to pick up.

Buy-the-Box Fundraiser from Crayola Flowers
With this option, Crayola Flowers ships freshly picked blooms directly to your organization, which you can then sell directly to customers. It’s a great option for a dance recital, Teacher Appreciation Week, or even a charity walk.
Tools to Make Crayola Flowers Fundraising Easy
No matter which fundraiser you choose, Crayola Flowers provides a suite of tools and support to help you reach your goals. You’ll be able to set up a custom fundraising site in just 15 minutes, and Crayola Flowers provides automated emails, QR codes, and social media support to make sure you reach a maximum audience.
Another cool feature: Crayola Flowers payment processing system—which is used for both the Anytime and Occasion-al fundraisers—covers the credit card processing fee to ensure nonprofits keep the maximum funds.
Like the idea and mission of Crayola Flowers but don’t have a local nonprofit to support? You can log onto the website and order flowers directly, and Crayola Flowers will donate a portion of your purchase price to its nonprofit partners; likewise, local companies can use the platform to set up an Anytime fundraiser to support these deserving organizations, too.
