Long Beach's Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and Celebration returns for its 37th year.

The annual event celebrates the life and legacy of a visionary who changed the world by promoting equality, justice, and peace. This year's event is themed "Together We Rise."

The parade kicks off at 10am at the intersection of Martin Luther King, Jr. Avenue and Anaheim Street.

The park celebration follows from noon to 5pm at Martin Luther King Jr. Park, featuring a main stage with performances, a health and wellness area, a youth area, food and merchandise vendors, and information booths.
