All Aboard! Make a Street Car Valentine!
Every first Saturday of the month, visit the National Capital Trolley Museum and enjoy a ride on a historic street car, then participate in a special family activity. This month: Make a Street Car Valentine!
Street cars do more than deliver people. Find out more about how street car service and other forms of transit historically—and currently—provide transport for letters and packages. Then make a street car Valentine to take home and send to a special person.
All Aboard! is NCTM’s monthly family program series. Every first Saturday of the month, learn about a new topic of transit history through hands-on learning, scientific experimentation, creating art, and more. Though the program is designed for ages 4 and up, younger children may succeed with adult assistance.
