Learn how featured NEA Artist-in-Residence Tohanash Tarrant uses the tradition of appliqué in her artwork to bridge the past with the present in her family and community. 

Using vibrant, colorful paper, create your own appliqué medallion using Tohanash’s family design, and create your own symbol to represent your family culture.
