Looking for the best things to do in DC this weekend? Here are some family-friendly events and activities to add to your list for this weekend.

This weekend is loaded with FREE fun around the DC area—and who doesn't love free? We love the National Cathedral's Flower Mart festival, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday. Your family can celebrate Cindo de Mayo with the iconic Running of the Chihuahuas at the Wharf on Saturday or at a Kids Festival at Shpgarten in McLean on Sunday. And Saturday is your rare chance to visit various embassies at the Around the World Embassy Tour.

Strawberry picking is also underway in the DC area, and the Strawberry Festival at Msssick's Farm Market in Bealeton, VA kicks off this Saturday. Enjoy the spring weather, and have a great weekend!
