Culver City Family Friendly March and Protest
This family friendly march and protest is intended to empower our children to take a stance on social injustices in our country. This is a safe space to gently allow kids to contribute to the conversation about the importance of seeing each other as one human race and to touch on the topic of racism in a way that is digestible for children.
The event starts at 11am sharp near the playground of Veterans Park, with activities such as banner creation, storytelling, and music circle.
Participants then march up Overland to Washington and turn right towards Culver City then back to the park.
Bring your own art supplies and banner materials.
Bring a blanket to lay on the grass and create your own space. Pack a lunch, snacks and water.
Face masks and respect for social distance is strongly advised and will be reminded of throughout this event.
