626 Golden Streets - Streets and Treats
Trick or treat! 626 Golden Streets, the San Gabriel Valley's open streets event, holds its first holiday-themed ciclovia.
626 Golden Streets - Streets and Treats features 4 miles of car-free streets for attendees to skate, bike, walk or scoot connecting the South El Monte Civic Center, the annual Dia de los Muertos festival on Main Street and the Children's Day Parade in El Monte, and ActiveSGV's home at the Jeff Seymour Center.
This free family-friendly event also includes three activity hubs along the route with trick-or-treating booths, live music, cultural performances, e-bike demos, local vendors, pop-up protected bikeways, family-friendly games, costume contests, and more.
Attendees can start and stop at any point along the route, at any time from 9am to 4pm. Participants are encouraged to enjoy the day by foot, bike, skate, scooter or any other type of human-powered vehicle!
