Disney and the El Capitan get Nutcracker season off to a magical start with the live action film The Nutcracker and the Four Realms.
Young Clara's search for a key leads her to a strange and mysterious parallel world, where she encounters a soldier named Phillip, a gang of mice and the regents who preside over three Realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers, and Land of Sweets. Clara and Phillip must brave the ominous Fourth Realm, home to the tyrant Mother Ginger, to retrieve Clara's key and hopefully return harmony to the unstable world.
As usual, the El Capitan offers exclusive experiences that make it one of the best places to see the film in LA. Audience members can take selfies with a life-sized onstage music box while the El Capitan’s Music Maestro spins tunes themed to each of the Four Realms. Later, as the lights go down, the music box magically comes to life.
