After a particularly severe flu season last year, the Health Department is ensuring access to free flu shots in the coming season by hosting several neighborhood flu vaccination clinics throughout Long Beach. 

The first event is a free vaccination clinic at Veterans Memorial Stadium.

This will be the largest flu vaccination clinic in Long Beach since the H1N1 pandemic in 2009, and attendees have the option of receiving their vaccines without even exiting their cars.
