NBC and Telemundo stations all across the country team up with hundred of shelters across the country to host Clear the Shelters, a nationwide pet adoption drive. The goal is to match shelter pets with their forever homes.

Since 2015, Clear the Shelters has helped 153,651 pets find forever homes.

The website has an interactive map showing participating shelters.  Many shelters are offering reduced adoption fees during this event.
