On Saturdays in August,  the Norton Simon invites visitors to drop by and play chess in the Sculpture Garden. Not a chess master just yet? A US chess expert is on hand to teach the rules of the game.

Space and chess sets are limited; no reservations are taken. 

This program is recommended for all ages and is free with admission
