Veggie Pride Parade 2019
The Veggie Pride Parade is a FREE annual event that brings the vegan and veg-curious community together to celebrate animal-friendly, environmentally sustainable and healthy lifestyles.
Come dressed as your favorite fruit, veggie, animal, or other themed costume, as the afternoon costume contest promises great prizes!
The parade lines up at 11am at 40 Gansevoort Street in the old meatpacking district of Manhattan and ends at 1pm in Union Square Park, where there are two stages set up with speakers, exhibitors, performers, and new this year, cooking demonstrations! Come ready to eat vegan food and learn about many NYC based animal rights groups.

12pm Parade
1pm - 5pm Post-parade Fest
- Parade empties into Union Square Park. Over 40 exhibitors sharing info, selling food, vegan goods and more.
- MAIN STAGE: 10 performances including singing, hip hop, dancing, acro yoga, a drag show and a live podcast. Over 20 speakers from the vegan community.
2pm Costume Contest
1:15pm - 5pm Cooking Demonstrations (Stage 2)
Learn easy healthy recipes and sample items while they last with Chef Roostie of Veggie Grub, lifestyle and health coaches Jessica Carter and Carissa Marks, and "What's Good Berto" from YouTube.
