Governors Island celebrates the season with a Winter Village, including a 5,000-square-foot skating rink, seasonal activities, festive winter lights, games, and food and drinks alongside warming fire pits.
Hours (starting November 20)
Thursday & Friday: 12-5:30pm
Saturday: 10am-5:30pm
Sunday: 10am-5:30pm
Fees
Admission: $12-$13 (all ages)
Free Admission Thursdays (walkup only, no advance registration)
Skate Rentals: $9 (all ages)
In addition to the rink, the Village features bike and sled rentals from Blazing Saddles NYC and wintery activities including lawn games like cornhole, can jam, and giant Jenga; fire pits; winter arts and cultural programming and a sparkling display of holiday lights throughout the historic Colonels Row.
