Morven is delighted to once again collaborate with the Arts Council of Princeton to bring its Paint Out Princeton plein air art program to the historic grounds and blooming garden.

Discover the endless possibilities in capturing the spirit and essence of this historic site. The mansion, former residence of New Jersey’s Governors and 18th-century home of Richard Stockton, a signer of the Declaration of Independence, has an impressive façade and wonderful architectural details. The Courtyard offers views of the mansion, surrounding out buildings, and the glorious Colonial Revival Garden. The Great Lawn is dotted with majestic trees and beds of heirloom plants. Explore the changing effects of natural light as it bathes the grounds throughout the day.

The public enjoying Morven in May will be invited to visit and observe artists at work! Pre-registration is required. Space is limited and registration is exclusively through the Arts Council of Princeton

Artists supply their own materials, canvas, easel, rags, chair, garbage bags and sunscreen.

Registration Required.
