Culver City's Tree Lighting Celebration is once again held in person in 2021.

Downtown Culver City's Annual Holiday Tree Lighting Celebration is presented virtually this year. The star of the show is this year's tree: a 22-foot artificial Rocky Mountain pine adorned with 7500 warm LED lights.

The celebration highlights Culver City’s best, including an appearance by Academy Award winner Tim Robbins, Artistic Director of The Actors’ Gang, a specially created dance film from Invertigo Dance Theatre and a vocal performance by Lesili Beard of VOX Femina Los Angeles.

The evening also includes student performers from Culver City High School’s Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, holiday greetings by the Mayor and City Council, and a special visit from Santa Claus.

The event can be viewed on the Downtown Culver City website at 6pm Pacific, (no login credentials or pre-registration required).
