Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden's Family Bird Festival offers a day outdoors with hands-on experiences, activities, and educational opportunities for young beginners and bird enthusiasts alike.

Guests can look for and tally up the many species of birds who live in the Garden year-round, as well as birds who stop for food and rest along their amazing migratory journeys. The Migration Challenge helps reveal why a bird's life is not always simple and carefree.

Special guests from Pomona Valley Audubon Society and International Bird Rescue share stories and information about their efforts to study and protect birds. Pomona Valley Audubon Society hosts a free binocular cleaning station. Wild Wings of California presents live raptors, up close and personal. Event sponsor Wild Birds Unlimited provides tips and techniques for identifying and attracting birds. California Condors Wild and Free offers info about the magnificent California Condor.

City of Claremont's Community-Based Organization (CBO) Grant Program covers Garden Admission costs for Claremont residents living in the zip code 91711. Bring  ID or a utility bill to prove residency.
