On Presidents Day the El Capitan screens 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, the tale of a megalomaniacal sea captain who wages a war from beneath the sea on perceived evils. James Mason stars alongside the late great Kirk Douglas.
In celebration of Walt Disney Archives' 50th anniversary, the El Capitan Theatre shows one throwback film from the archives each month.
The screening features a special introduction by the Walt Disney Archives and an exclusive display of memorabilia from the department’s legendary collection.
