The inaugural Veterans Day LA is a free daytime event taking place adjacent to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with everything from a veterans resource fair to aerial demonstrations to food trucks throughout the day​.

The calendar is as follows:

9:00 am: Exhibits & Resource Fair open
10:00am: Opening Ceremonies, Torch lighting at Coliseum, patriotic music

Remarks by:  Supervisor Janice Hahn, Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard, Lieutenant General Stayce Harris, Brigadier General Ruth Wong, Captain Alberto Diaz (Chief Pilot, United Airlines), Phillip Washington (Chief Executive Officer, LA Metro)

Closing remarks by Senator Bob Archuleta, 32nd District

11:45am:  Performances by Rock for Vets and Palishades

3:00pm:  Event closes
