An exciting tradition touches down in Los Angeles for the Richland Avenue Elementary School community to enjoy. Some call it Fat Tuesday, Mardi Gras or Carnival, but at Richland it is called Tiger Gras.

Held at an off-campus location, Tiger Gras features:
 

  • The Tiger Gras Parade, featuring floats and masks by Richland families!
  • Musical performances by: Charlie & the Blowhards (Traditional New Orleans Jazz), Year of the Crow (Indigenous Space Rock), Hopi Blues Band (Blues), and Dao J (Electronic)
  • Food and Drinks served all day
  • King Cake for all in attendance

Bring a chair or blanket for viewing the parade and bands from the lawn. Space is limited RSVP requested.
