Sugar & Stilettos Charitable Foundation: Alice in Wonderland Tea Party
Celebrities like Richard Lewis, Bradley Whitford and Ed Begley Jr. wear tiaras and stilettos for charity at the annual Sugar & Stilettos Bake Sale Extravaganza.
This year's event offers an Alice in Wonderland themed tea party, with characters for photo ops, the movie playing on a big screen, complimentary tea sandwiches and snacks, and more. The family friendly afternoon culminates in a crowning ceremony of Mr. Sugar & Stilettos.
Since 2011, Sugar & Stilettos has held an annual event that brings together the city's top bakeries - such as Sweet Lady Jane, Craft Restaurant, Milo & Olive, Susie Cakes, Clementine and Top Tier Treats - as well as other donations from Jennifer Meyer Jewelry, XIV Karat Jewelers, The Honest Company, Shutters on the Beach and Dry Bar.
This event has raised over $400,000 for the Westside Food Bank in Los Angeles, which means over 1.6 million meals to those in need. The Westside Food Bank serves over 70 agencies in Los Angeles, including those that help homeless populations and the mentally ill get back on their feet.
